About

25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

I began my journey of becoming a Psychotherapist by attending The University of Florida and studying Psychology. I went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work from Barry University. I have been practicing as a licensed clinician for over 25 years.

I treat adolescents and adults specializing in divorce/blended families, marital issues, depression/anxiety, eating disorders and adolescent behavior disorders. I provide individual, group, couples and family therapy. I would consider myself mostly a cognitive behavioral therapist, however, I am eclectic at times, i.e., psychodynamic or solution focused.

I am a very compassionate but assertive therapist, and I believe in having a positive attitude. I truly believe in starting where you are at. I want the goals in therapy to be your goals, not my goals. I do not have the magic wand, but I will guide you through your journey of healing. If you do the work, you will start to heal and feel better!

I look forward to working with you!
